Records and Identification Bureau is responsible for coordinating electronic archival of all Department crime reports and of inmate release jackets.
Digital images are stored in the Sheriff’s Electronic Criminal Documents Archive (SECDA). Department Personnel may retrieve copies of crime reports and inmate release jackets through the Los Angeles Regional Crime Information System (LARCIS).
