TRANSGENDER INMATE CLASSIFICATION AND IDENTIFICATION

INTRODUCTION                                                                            

The purpose of this informational bulletin is to provide all personnel assigned to Custody Operations with information pertaining to the introduction of a new sub-classification to identify transgender inmates.

PROCEDURES

Confirmed transgender inmates shall be identified by utilizing the [REDACTED TEXT] in conjunction with the [REDACTED TEXT] sub-classification. This sub-classification shall be associated with a yellow or red wristband.
