PURPOSE OF ORDER
The purpose of this Temporary Bureau Order is to provide flight crew and ground crew procedures when inspecting or modifying protective helmets.
SCOPE OF ORDER
All helmets should be kept in clean serviceable condition. All modifications shall be performed by a qualified Electronic Communication Technician (ECT), in accordance with the manufacture's recommendations. Aero Bureau issued helmets are single impact helmets. All crew members are responsible for reporting known or suspected impact incidents to a supervisor for inspection and/or replacement. They are also required to report any damage to their helmet.
ORDER
All crew members are responsible for conducting routine mai outlined in the manufactures manual.
