4/090.04 Pursuits
PURPOSE OF ORDER
The purpose of this order is to add an addendum to the current Aero Bureau pursuit policy regarding vehicle pursuit notifications.
SCOPE OF ORDER
All Aero Bureau personnel assigned to aircrews and/or desk operations duties.
ORDER
Aero Bureau desk personnel shall monitor radio traffic, and notify the Aero Bureau Watch Commander of vehicle pursuits involving Aero Bureau air units. Upon involvement, and as soon as reasonably practicable, aircrews shall notify Aero Bureau desk personnel of outside agency vehicle pursuits they are involved in. This includes pursuit handoffs from LASO stations to respective outside agencies.
