PURPOSE OF ORDER: The purpose of this unit order is to establish library procedures for inmates housed in Building [REDACTED TEXT].
SCOPE OF ORDER: This order applies to all personnel assigned to and/or working at the North County Correctional Facility (NCCF).
ORDER
All inmates who are housed in Building [REDACTED TEXT] are allowed to receive basic reading materials from Building [REDACTED TEXT] personnel upon request. When an inmate request reading materials, custody personnel shall, when feasible, retrieve the [REDACTED TEXT] Building library cart and allow the inmate to select the material of their choice.
Library service requests that cannot be handled by Building [REDACTED TEXT] personnel will be referred to the Education Based Incarceration (EBI) unit or the Religious and Volunteer Services (RVS) unit.
