Drug Arrest Statistical Code Changes
Drug Arrest Statistical Codes (Stat Codes) changed on January 1, 2015.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s drug arrest stat codes are being updated and simplified. On January 1, 2015, the following changes will take place:
Stat code 181 will be used for felony drug arrest charges that include transportation and/or sales charges (except marijuana).
Stat code 184 will be used for all other felony drug arrest charges (except marijuana).
Stat code 185 will be used for all misdemeanor drug charges (except marijuana).
Stat code 187 will no longer be used.
All other drug stat codes will remain the same.
