The Department's Food Services Unit is administratively responsible for emergency field food preparation.
Approval for the feeding of personnel during an emergency rests with the Incident Commander when meals are necessary to sustain personnel during an emergency, refer to EOP 4-9.
When the Incident Command System is activated, the Logistics Section Chief shall be responsible for coordinating this operation with the Unit Commander of Food Services Unit.
