Red Cross

When a Unit Commander ascertains that the services of the Red Cross are required in a natural disaster or a war-caused disaster or on proclamation of a "State of Extreme Emergency" by the government and there is a question as to which Red Cross Chapter would have jurisdiction in the disaster area, contact the Sheriff's Communications Center and have them contact the Red Cross Coordinating Agency and request the service of the Red Cross in the designated area.

Tidal Wave(Seismic wave)

 

 

 

 

When tidal wave advisory messages or warnings are received by the Sheriff’s Communications Center, the Watch Commander shall notify appropriate Station Watch Commander and duty officer, Sheriff's Civil Defense Coordinator, and if he is not available, the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau, and shall broadcast verbatim all tidal wave advisory and warning messages to all law enforcement agencies in the County.
