Ammunition required for any training conducted by the Weapons Training Unit shall be supplied by the Weapons Training Unit.
Units that are training with any Department unit other than the Weapons Training Unit, or attending training conducted by another police agency or private entity, shall be responsible for purchasing their own ammunition.
Ammunition shall be purchased from an approved vendor. Units purchasing ammunition shall coordinate the purchase through the Biscailuz Center Armory.
Ammunition for qualification at a Department mobile range will be provided by the Weapons Training Unit at the Biscailuz Center Armory with an approved Departmental Supply Requisition.
Ammunition supplied for a mobile range shall only be used for qualifications. Practice shooting shall not be conducted at any mobile range. The Department’s mobile ranges are for qualification use only.
