Subpoenas for service on a juvenile in custody at any Los Angeles County Probation Department facility shall be handled as follows:
If there is no detention order or juvenile court warrant, the investigating detective shall take the juvenile from his place of detention to the court of issuance; and/or
If the juvenile is being detained at any Probation Department facility or placement, the subpoena shall be sent to Movement Control at Eastlake Juvenile Hall, who shall deliver the subpoena to the Transportation Office of the Probation Department at least three days prior to the date of appearance in order to allow sufficient time for processing. The Probation Department will then handle the transportation.
