Deputy personnel investigating an instance of child abuse or neglect must observe conditions concerning the subject or the environment of the subject which would be reasonable cause to believe a crime is being committed, and shall articulate those facts on a Incident Report.
Deputy personnel shall gather written statements of physicians, statements of victims and witnesses, and seize any pertinent evidence for inclusion into the report.
