(See Volume 5, Chapter 1.) DO NOT ENTER EMBEZZLED VEHICLES INTO SVS, EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF AN EMBEZZLEMENT INVOLVING A BREACH OF A LEASE OR RENTAL AGREEMENT. When it is determined the vehicle is stolen, Station/Unit detectives will authorize entry of the stolen vehicle into SVS and NCIC and the release of the stolen report. In the case of an embezzlement involving a breach of a lease or rental agreement, the vehicle shall be entered into SVS immediately and note in the miscellaneous field “Embezzled Vehicle.” Code 330 - Embezzlement - Felony.
