4-06/027.00 CITIZENS' COMPLAINTS AGAINST OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES			Citizens will be assisted in communicating complaints regarding police misconduct. Persons who approach any member of the Department with a complaint regarding another agency shall be treated with courtesy and concern. In most instances, providing the complainant with the correct agency to contact may be appropriate. In instances where it is alleged that police misconduct caused significant injury or was a possible criminal offense, a Department supervisor shall make personal contact with a supervisor from the involved agency.
